Giant Star Records provides an outlet for ambitious Calgary recording artists to deliver the best product they can, in a timely, professional and personal manner. Located on the border of Calgary and DeWinton our facility is tucked away in a quiet community where recording artists are able to freely create the Hip Hop music that they love, at their own pace. Giant Star Records recording studio is owned and operated by Jay Jay Abels, a graduate from APRA, who works with and pushes the recording artist just enough to help bring out the best in themselves. He is currently enrolled in Berklee's Online Music program expecting a Masters Certificate in Music Production with Pro Tools. We turn rappers into artists and singers into stars.
